1. About Rally

Rally is a platform that helps players find nearby venues, join organised games, and fill teams quickly across multiple sports. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Rally website, mobile application, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use Rally. By using the Platform, you confirm that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent.

3. Your Account

When you create an account, you are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and up-to-date information
• Keeping your login credentials confidential
• All activity that occurs under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Joining and Hosting Games

When you join a game on Rally, you commit to attending. Repeated no-shows without cancellation may result in account suspension.

• Cancellation policy: You may cancel your spot up to 2 hours before a game starts for a full refund. Cancellations within 2 hours are non-refundable.
• Host responsibilities: Hosts are responsible for booking and confirming the venue, notifying players of any changes, and ensuring the environment is safe and appropriate for the sport.
• Game cancellation by host: If a host cancels, all players receive a full refund. Hosts who repeatedly cancel may lose hosting privileges.

5. Payments

All payments on the Platform are processed by Stripe. By making a payment, you also agree to Stripe's terms of service.

• Rally charges a platform fee on each booking, displayed clearly before payment
• All prices are shown inclusive of applicable taxes
• Refunds are issued in accordance with the cancellation policy above
• We are not responsible for any charges imposed by your bank or card provider

6. User Conduct

You agree to use Rally in a respectful and lawful manner. The following are strictly prohibited:

• Harassment, abuse, or threatening behaviour toward other users
• Creating fake accounts or misrepresenting your identity
• Using the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Attempting to damage, disable, or overburden our systems
• Scraping, copying, or redistributing content without permission
• Leaving false or malicious ratings about other players

Violations may result in immediate account termination without refund.

7. Safety & Participation

Sport carries inherent physical risk. By participating in games arranged through Rally, you acknowledge:

• You participate in games at your own risk
• Rally is a booking platform and is not liable for injuries sustained during games
• You are responsible for your own fitness and health when playing
• Venue owners and local laws govern the actual playing environment

We strongly recommend that all players have appropriate personal insurance.

8. Player Ratings

Rally operates a mutual rating system. You agree to leave honest, fair ratings based on your genuine experience. We reserve the right to remove ratings that are abusive, false, or in violation of these Terms.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Rally Platform — including the logo, design, text, and software — is owned by or licensed to Rally. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

By uploading content to the Platform (such as a profile photo), you grant Rally a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that content in connection with the service.

10. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Rally is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied.

We are not liable for: loss of data; indirect or consequential losses; losses arising from third-party services; or any loss exceeding the amount you paid us in the 3 months prior to the claim.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email or by posting a notice on the website. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
